Opinion About "Cobweb" Movie

"Cobweb" presents an intriguing and dark story that explores themes of isolation, family, and the supernatural. The film creates an eerie and suspenseful atmosphere, drawing the audience into the mysterious world of the protagonist, Peter. My opinion on the film is as follows:

  • The film is excellent at building tension and suspense from the very beginning. Peter's loneliness and isolation is evident, making the audience empathize with his plight. Strange occurrences, such as voices behind the wall, immediately attract the audience, making them curious about the source of these supernatural occurrences.
  • The character of Peter is well developed, and the actor's performance effectively conveys his feelings of fear, longing for companionship, and ultimately frustration. His journey from a lonely, isolated boy to a man caught in the web of supernatural and sinister forces is compelling.
  • The presence of the mysterious girl behind the wall adds an element of intrigue to the story. His initial portrayal as Peter's potential friend and confidant leaves the audience guessing as to his true nature and motives. This ambiguity adds depth to the narrative.
  • The film effectively explores the theme of over-protective parenting, and highlights its consequences on a child's emotional well-being. Peter's parents' refusal to let him connect with the outside world and their strict control over his activities contribute to the sense of isolation and fear that pervades the story.
  • The character of the teacher serves as an important link between the outside world and Peter's troubled life. Her concern for Peter and determination to help him add a layer of hope to the narrative. Her involvement in the latter half of the story adds tension and urgency to the plot.
  • The film takes a dark turn when Peter takes drastic measures to escape his oppressive home environment. Revelations about his sister, the monster girl, and the family's disturbing secrets add a scary and unexpected dimension to the story.
  • However, the film's climax, in which the monster girl attacks Peter and his friends, may be considered intense and graphic by some viewers. This adds a scary element to the story but may be disturbing for those who are sensitive to such material.
  • The film's conclusion leaves room for interpretation, and it may leave lingering questions in some viewers' minds about the characters' fates and the resolution of the supernatural elements.

In short, "Cobweb" is a mysterious and atmospheric film that effectively explores themes of isolation, family dynamics, and the supernatural. It keeps the audience captivated with its eerie atmosphere and mysterious plot, making it an engaging watch for fans of supernatural thrillers.

Peter explains that it was not him, but someone else who was asking for help. He believes that the girl behind the wall is real and wants to befriend her.

The next day at school, the girl is seen drawing Halloween pictures on pumpkins. Peter also makes a beautiful painting, but a naughty boy breaks his pumpkin, which makes him sad. She feeds him good food and puts him to sleep.

As soon as she left, as soon as he was alone, Peter came to the wall and started crying. The girl immediately came and started talking to him. She reveals that she is actually Peter's sister, who has been imprisoned there for years. She instructs Peter to remove the clock on the wall, open the secret door, and free her.

Peter is surprised but skeptical, so he asks to meet her. The girl warns him that he looks strange after being held captive for so long. Peter looks through a small hole in the wall and sees the girl's large, scary eye. The girl explains that their parents are cruel and that they are planning to harm Peter.

Peter is frightened and dreams that his parents will be bad. He confides in his teacher, but his mother overhears and becomes angry. Later, the girl tells Peter that their parents are planning to kill her. Peter decided to take revenge and mixed poison in their food, resulting in his father's death. The girl, now revealed to be a demon, attacks Peter's mother, but it is revealed that she was trying to protect Peter.

The demon girl then kills three of Peter's friends who came for revenge. Peter hides in his room and watches the girl's horrific transformation.
